Load Balancing - piranha (RHEL 5.8)

Hi,

I'm using 3 dns servers which is load balanced by 2 virtual server.
Installed piranha Load Balancing solution in RHEL 5.8. configured all services including piranha-gui, pulse, ipvsadm and piranha-gui is running only in my active LB.
When i query my dns server it is successful but i cannot find any log entry in the command
# ipvsadm -Lc
IPVS connection entries
pro expire state source virtual destination

And also active connection is 0
# ipvsadm -L
IP Virtual Server version 1.2.1 (size=4096)
Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags
-> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn
FWM 53 rr
-> 10.18.10.1:domain Route 1 0 0
-> 10.18.10.3:domain Route 1 0 0
-> 10.18.10.2:domain Route 1 0 0
FWM 54 rr
-> 10.18.10.1:domain Route 1 0 0
-> 10.18.10.3:domain Route 1 0 0
-> 10.18.10.2:domain Route 1 0 0

The actual output should be as follows

# ipvsadm -Lc
IPVS connection entries
pro expire state source virtual destination
UDP 04:51 UDP 102.160.35.41:11647 41.3.254.147:domain 10.18.10.1:domain

UDP 04:21 UDP 31.6.218.204:17789 41.3.254.148:domain 10.18.10.2:domain
UDP 04:17 UDP 201.93.115.90:26640 41.3.254.148:domain 10.18.10.1:domain

this is the OLD 5.8 that you are paying redhat a ARM and A LEG to supplay back ports of 5.12 to
so
have you contacted redhat support
you are paying them a extremely huge amount of cash every year to supply the back ports

How?
and have you read the documentation and manual for that software ?

-- the documentation for RHEL 6.6 --
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...dministration/
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...ranha-VSA.html

a old el5 doc

then contact redhat
it is there operating system and you are paying for the support contract

You might want to use what you ARE paying for .

but you might want to look in apache's log
the dns ping should be there
