Need any script which populates several requests to burden the server and create a report of the performance of the Server. The report should contain the load vs the performance statistics like the the number of requests - to - the time taken to process the request.

try http://www.stresslinux.org/sl/ for hardware benchmark.
Or if you need to test the OS performance you can use the tools from the stresslinux distributuion.

Which server you are using? Did you tried any tools ? did you google for it ?

Actually I was looking for a shell/perl/python/curl script where I can make multiple requests simultaneously to web url www.xyz.com. I need to make multiple requests to a web server and need to check the load performance. Thanks.
