Right, so what is the dn you're binding with, and does it exist on the server?

the problem is fixed by luck, but i make some changes.
Quote:
the dn is: dc=example,dc=info
i changed the root admin for ldap to be:
cn=Manager,dc=example,dc=info[/QUOTE]
but my question now, i need to make a samba domain and i can't do that, i'm using Ldap Account Manager (LAM), when i add the SID and Domain Name, it give me a message saying:
Quote:
Was unable to create DN: sambaDomainName=workgroup,ou=smb,dc=example,dc=info.
Invalid DN syntax
so, what can i do ???
is it a bug in LAM ???
or i can add it manually ???
