Smile Interested in setting up Tomcat on another machine. How-to?

I have two machines, both with OpenSUSE 11.4. I want to install Tomcat server on one (call it the HP) and test my JSPs/java scripts from the other box (the ASRock). I haven't even set up networking yet. Should I follow these instructions first?: http://www.linux.com/news/enterprise...suse-and-kde-4 he doesn't test this.
And please guide me to further instructions on server setup and testing. Thanks

First
You are aware that OpenSUSE 11.4 is a dead version
It went End Of life back on "November 5th 2012"

currently only OpenSUSE 12.1 and 12.2 are supported and 12.1 is about to hit it's End Of Life in 87 days

Also those "instructions "? are from 2009 , they are 4 years old
? They should still be applicable but use Yast2
and is not for "tomcat"
but the std network config

tomcat is in the repos
but for the EOL 11.4 ???? those mirrors might not be still up
you might have "fun"

Code:
su -
zypper se tomcat
--- from the list ---
zypper in tomcat tomcat-admin-webapps
zypper will grab any not already installed prerequisites
