installing GIT on centos 5


i would like to install GIT on my CentOS 5 system and would like to know if there is an easy 1-click package that i could download instead of sifting through the rpm's?

It's in the epel repository. Go to fedoraproject.org, click on the wiki link and search for epel - it'll give you the instructions (epel is a fedora sponsored EL repo).
