I can't access vsftp remotely


Hi,

I have configured my vsftpd I can access it local but when I want to access remotely I get the error as followed

KERBEROS_V4 rejected as an authentication type

any ideas will be appretiated.

Posted the question but din't get any response from all the members. can some body just give me a idea what to do

Reinstall your vsftpd PAM config file. By default it install a default /etc/pam.d/ftp to be used with vsftpd. If you get the vsftpd.pam from the vsftpd source rpm and replace the "/etc/pam.d/ftp" you currently have you will be able to login.

thanks for some response

I have extrated a vsftpd.tar.gz and copied the vsftpd.pam to /etc/pam.d directory and renamed vsftpd.pam to vsftpd but still din't worky any ideas!
