"hwlist" to pull hardware, system information in linux
Hi Folks,
I've created this blog page which guides on how to find/print hardware information, system (os) details in a Linux system. A simple way to get the data using native utilities. I hope it could help the community:

Thanks,

If you really want to help the community, then why don't you post it here? Especially since the 'informative article' in question is two years old, and only tells people to install the already-existing hwlist program.
Read the LQ Rules..you are doing nothing but advertising your own blog. Thread reported.
mssm06, mod's have had a bit of discussion on this. There is indeed a fine line between promoting one's web page and useful links to good information sometimes.
Some of the LQ members like to create guides and helpful pages. I think they usually create them at the wiki forum.
LQ tries to be cautious on links. They may stay here for a long time.
