https file server.. what server is this ?

I am not familiar with server.

I encountered with this file server (as emulated in photo below).
Since the URL starts with "https", however the URL can be opened with firefox and the pdf files can be downloaded using just firefox.

It is a webdavs (extension feature of https webserver that can serve files) too ?
I can use dolphin to login a webdavs server using format as below:
Code:
webdavs://username@file.someserver.org
However the
Code:
https://media.server2.org/pdf/
url as in photo does not match the syntax of a webdavs .. no username nor password required to access this server.

Please enlighten me .. Thanks

Is there other tool to access this file server so that i can download all the files easier instead of having to rightclick saveas to download the files 1 by 1 ?

Depends on what web server is running and how it is configured. Apache will show a similar listing as posted if you have Options +Indexes in the directory directive and no index.html file in that specific directory.

You can use wget to download all files, something like:

wget --no-parent -r https://media.server2.org/pdf/

Thanks for the cli, it is saves me a lot of time.

What is the different between webdavs (https file server) vs something like Apache (with +Indexes)?, both have https as protocol. I uses dolphin (with downloaded package) to access webdavs daily, but this tool can't be use on Apache with (index feature) right ?
Both looks similar from url aspect, but way to access it is totally not interchangeably ?
Is there way or command to find out what is the server is ?
Thanks

Perhaps these pages will help you to understand a bit more:
