HTTPD won't start NSS_Initialize failed. Certificate database

Dear All,

How to disable SSL on HTTPD?..
my HTTPD won't start .. I checked /var/log/httpd/error_log .. it shown as below:

[Fri Aug 02 00:48:34 2013] [error] NSS_Initialize failed. Certificate database: /etc/httpd/alias.
[Fri Aug 02 00:48:34 2013] [error] SSL Library Error: -8038 SEC_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED

I don't want to use SSL .. so I removed all files in /alias folder .. but no luck.

could anybody please help?
