Question Howto prevent download files from Apache Webserver

Dear Friends,

I would like to know how to configure Apache webserver to prevent downloading files with download manager. And I don't want to give download even the user knows the absolute path (e.g; http://www.mywebsite.org/mypicture.jpg).

Regards,
greeting

This has nothing to do with apache but is about html coding. If I remember correctly you need to anchor the image into the page as opposed to using href= . If you want further protection of the image that could be found through viewing the html source then you can place the image into a directory that is protected using htaccess and therefore prevent access to the directory.
