How to update phpMyAdmin on Debian Lenny?

Hi you!

I'm running a Debian Lenny server with Apache2, PHP, MySQL and phpMyAdmin for web-controlling the mySQL.

I've installed the phpMyAdmin with apt-get install phpmyadmin, and before that I ran the command apt-get update.

How do I get the newest version of phpMyAdmin? I see it's about version 3 now.

Build it from Squeeze. You should probably find a tutorial about building packages from other repos on Debian, but here's a summary:

1. add a deb-src (not a deb) line for Squeeze to your sources.list
2. apt-get update
3. apt-get build-dep phpmyadmin
4. apt-get source -b -t squeeze phpmyadmin
5. dpkg -i phpmyadmin-something.deb

Hopefully, all the build dependencies for phpmyadmin are at a level high enough to build squeeze's version.
