Post how to setup rDNS in centOS?


hello,
how to setup rDNS in centOS?

whats the command line?
i am new in here.

please share your experience here.

rDNS as in reverse DNS. That really depends on how your IP's are setup. Most usually the host will setup Reverse DNS. Example, I have a server in a data center while I control all the forward DNS, they have to edit my reverse DNS records. If you own the IP's you'll be able to set your DNS servers authoritive to control reverse DNS.

i have own 3 dedicated ip.
please let me know, how to setup rDNS in centOS.

If you have only 3 dedicated IP's then you wouldn't be able to setup reverse DNS without assistance of your host. I would really recommend you talking with them
