How to Recover RAID 5

I have installed RHEL 5 and I have configured RAID5 on it. after 1 month suddenly my RAID volume created and error and i was unable to boot the Linux then I reinstall the RHEL5 but i didn't disturb the software RAID only I used my other disk for RHEL5 installation. In Linux the kernal is showing md0 in /dev/md0 but i am unable to mount it. when i try to mount it I get the error message saying that not valid file system type. Can someone help me.... please tell me how to mount the RAID again in /raid directory. thanx in advance.

Unlike with the Pitiful Operating System (abbrev.: POS) you don't win much by blindly reinstalling software or the complete OS. Problems do not go away by ignoring them. What could help is posting more information about the "after 1 month suddenly my RAID volume created an error" incident, any system messages that could indicate problems at the "hardware" level and the complete output of running 'mdadm --detail /dev/md0'.
