Which distro?
Partition layout?
What file-system(s)?
Are you using a PSP as server?
What network card?
What driver?
What do you mean with "Not working"?

I'm sorry but I can't help you without more information.
Only thing I can say about the "recreate partition" issue is that you could copy all data on the partitions involved to some other disk/partition and then repartition & reformat. (You format a disk, not the server.)
But I don't know what disks & partitions you have.
