How to Multiple Server to 1 SAN Disk

What I am wanting to achieve:
make 1 SAN disk available to 2- Linux servers. (not connected at same time)

This will be setup in an active/passive type situation.
In other words:
when server1 mounted to the SAN server server2 umounted.
server1 fails I want to be able to mount server2 to SAN that was being used by server1.

I understand both cannot be mounted at the sometime, can cause data corruption. I know this can be done with clustering but want to find a solution for above mentioned.

Thanks

You actually CAN have it mounted at the same time using GFS2 - but if you're not using GFS2 then yeah they can't be.

Take a look at Red Hat Cluster Suite (available for CentOS too)

This is a really good resource - there are 8 videos...I suggest you watching ALL 8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vODjL...D4E2A50DDDD9EE
