i want to get log of each and every thing of samba share dir, accessing by windows client either when they login and logout, editing, etc.by any pc, their pc ip.etc...
i know that samba log give it but i want to create my own.can any one tell me about this.
An option would be setting your logging to the appropriate level, and then setting the log to a different place. Both are Global variables. An example would be:
log level = 5
log file = /var/log/samba/own.log
