it would help if you actually told us what files you have to work from. tere are plenty of generic installation guides in our tutorial site.

well... tat was a good suggestion! :P there is an instal.sh file and in the installation notes it says run instal.sh and follow the instructions,

MY QUESTION!:

Requirements:

Os Linux(Fedora Core 3) with Gcc compiler, 256 Mb Ram (Min) 300 Mb Hard Disk etc.,

They have specified the distro.. does that matter? My lab admin sez the distro may be to specify the kernel version and he doesnt know about Suse as he has not worked on it...

As per my knowledge Suse 10 has a better kernel than FC3....

also in the installation notes, they have given a warning tat instal on other Distros at your risk,

after little research i found that debian was supported for a while and NCT removed the support!

i don want to screw up so i am asking for sugestions now!

Ps: by the way my dumbness was the reason i cudnt do anything.. instal instructions are provided and i may need help in configuring it to work!
