how to get data of PLC in Linux server


hello user,

is their is any way to connect PLC system used in Big Industries and operate all activities with Linux.

Almost every plc maker offers help, info and programs for their products. Many run under linux, qnx and other special industrial os's and hardware. We'd need to know exactly what brand and model you have and how it connects. Also what you want to control with it. Usually you have to create your own MMI for your system. Control boards for can-net and 485, 232 may have to be selected too for linux support.
