Unhappy How to configure my Linux Server become VPN Client


Hi, I am still new in Linux Environment.

I need a help on how to configure my server which run in Redhat 9 to connect to the VPN Server. Below is the configuration that i get from VPN Server Administrator.

*********************************************************************

CP Name : md

Public IP: 202.190.***.***
Private IP: 192.168.17.**
Preshared key: AAAAAA
Following is our firewall configuration as your reference.

XXX Connection Details

Firewall Type:CheckPoint F/W Ver4.1

XXX External Line (Public Link) IP:203.92.***.***

XXX Application Server IP:192.100.86.xx (Please grant access for the whole 86 segment). Service Port: 80, 8001

1) IKE Properties

Key Negotiation Encryption Methods: 3DES
Hash Methods: MD5
Authentication Methods: Pre-shared secret.
Support Agressive mode (Y/N)?: No
Support subnet (Y/N)?: Yes

2) Shared Secret: AAAAAA

3) IKE Properties (under policy editor)

Transform: Encryption + data integrity (ESP)
Encryption Algorithm: 3DES
Data Integrity: MD5
Allowed Peer gateway: 202.190.***.***
Use perfect forward secrecy (Y/N): No

On your side, please double check the configuration is using following:

IKE Phase I lifetime -> 86400s
Phase II lifetime - 3600s
DH Group -> Group 1

Is there any software/application that I can used to easily connect to this VPN server.

HELP! I really need this should be up urgently.

This isn't urgent for anyone but you; we volunteer our time to try to help folks.

Have you tried looking this up on Google, if it's urgent? A brief search turns up:
