Hosting my site!

Hey, guys!
I've created a simple web site. I can now reach it from anywhere when I put the virtualhost in /etc/hosts. After that I decided to buy a domain for it - so I bought it. But I have a problem configure it. When I go add IP for the domain the registration company wants me to add both dns server and IP(if necessary). My Question is: DO I HAVE TO CREATE A DNS SERVER ON THE APACHE OR THE DNS THEY WANT IS JUST VIRTUAL AS THE VIRTUAL HOSTS IN /ETC/APACHE2/DEFALT ARE? THANK YOU!

Most registrants has their own dns servers. You should ask him what to enter into dns servers. If they do not provide you this feature, you must find - for best other registrant - or someone else with dns server or create one yourself. It must be working all the time, and be doubled on other ip (whole other computer is better). The IP is I think the A record, so this is just your website ip.
