Hiding bash script contents

Hi All

I have written a few bash scripts for my customer to make their life easier. I don't want them to be able to open the up and see what's in there.

Is there a way I can secure the data inside so they can only run the script.

Thanks

Glenn

Obfuscating is never a good approach, that said, have a look at these links:

- How to Encrypt Your Bash Shell Script on Linux Using SHC
- HOWTO: Encrypting a shell script on a Linux or Unix based system (shc)

if they (the customer) had root access you will have no chance. Actually it will only depend on their knowledge.
