heartbeat DRBD issue with failover

Dear Freiends,
Here are details of my setup, setup is basically an two node cluster, service used heartbeat, drbd, syslog.
os rhel6.2

let me explain how these works
we have 2 systems.
"primary" and "backup" ( names are frictional just of easy refrence and understanding)

How the services are running here.
These systems are ment for recording the syslog on H.A basis

heartbeat provides the systems with floating virtual ip address and switch-overs drbd to primary and makes it available on mount location.

services are mostly running on primary node.

we need to take the downtime of primary node, in order to achive it we bring down heartbeat service on primary node on doing so heartbeat on backup system brings up the required service every thing is fine upto this point, but as soon as we bring down primary system, backup system crashes and reboots.

so it's difficult to find out what exactly is happening over here, I tried check the dmesges of backup system but I am not able to figure out what is causing it to crash and reboot. I need suggestion as of where star looking from. If anyone here faced similar problems I would glade to learn from past expirence of yours

if you need any other details please let me know.

Thank you
Regards

If it is crashing, then it will print a stack trace on the console. Capture that and post it if you can't figure it out.
