Email in ssh?

Hello all, the question is NOT how do i send email in SSH but rather this:

How do i setup an email service? I have my server configured and everything (ip tables, fail2ban, able to access it, open ports, blah blah blah) and now i want to get me some emailing service on it!

Any help would be well, helpful! Thanks!

Once you get your mail server up and running. You can use ssh to connect to your server and tunnel the connection, basically forward the service over ssh to a local port you choose. Like:
ssh -L 81:localhost:80 server
This forwards the httpd service to your local port 81 over ssh. Hope this makes sense'

Um... I believe you are asking how to set up an email service on a Linux server? If so, let me tell you that its not a simple task if you have never had experience with it. You'll need an MTA (sendmail, qmail, postfix, etc) and a LDA(procmail, etc)
I suggest reading a guide first, then come back with questions
