Unhappy Driver NTFS for RedHat Enterprises Linux 5 update 7

Dear all member in Linux Questions.org
My O/S RedHat Enterprises Linux 5 update 7, with IBM Machine X 3650 M4.
I have already driver ntfs with Full Path: /usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-274.el5-x86_64/fs/ntfs
Last Modification: yyyy-mm-dd Owner : root
4.0 KB (Allocated bytes : 8.0 KB) - folder with our IBM X-3650 M4 server.
But after I drag the mouse into the subject folder (from external hard disk), error message :
"Cannot mount volume"
The volume "my folder and file" uses the ntfs file system which is not supported by your system.

Please help us, the driver can not match.
What's ntfs driver version for this issue?

Thanks in advance

Well, first of all check if ntfs module is loaded:
$ lsmod|grep ntfs

If so, try to mount the share from cli using command 'mount' and see what happens.

On the older RHEL 5.7 ( 5.9 is current )

NTFS-3g should be installed and auto mounting the partition
but a read only ( root can read/write to ntfs by default)

search the red hat knowledge base for full instructions , they ARE there
https://access.redhat.com/search/quick

note:
you will need to login to the redhat web site using the credentials you set up with the required license
