Curl html post problem


Hi, i'm having problem with this command :
curl --form "taxonomy[file]=@taxonomy.xml" http://10.254.61.25:35370

the purpose of this command is to post on a webserver the content of the .xml file. The file is about 3go, and it suppose to run at night. My os is RHEL 6

my problem or maybe its not a problem but im not sure if its working cause when i type the command it return me no error and switch back to command prompt without doing anything else i checked the process status and nothing in relation run there also.
