CUPS web page will print from tray 2 but command line pulls from tray1

Hi,
I have printer setup in cups that is set to pull from cartridge 2 of a Kyocera FS-4300DN. Using driver Kyocera FS-4300DN (KPDL) (grayscale, 2-sided printing). When printing from the CUPS admin page it does pull from the second tray as desired. However, when trying to print from the application it pulls from the first tray. The application basically just sends a command like:

Code:
lpr -P PRINTERNAME FILENAME.ps
I have tried printing from the command line as root or another user to see if is permissions related but it always pulls from the first tray. Anybody know what is different about how the CUPS web page is sending the print job and/or how I can get this work?

Thanks in advance.

It should be defined as an option to lpr. Check the available options with the lpoptions command.

Thanks for the help. Here is what I get:

KCVersion/PPD Version: *Default
with the seemingly important line being:
Code:
InputSlot/Media Source: PF430A *PF430B PF430C PF430D PF430E PF315 MF1
The .ppd file looks like this:
Code:
*% Input Slot Definitions
*OpenUI *InputSlot: PickOne
*OrderDependency: 30 AnySetup *InputSlot
*DefaultInputSlot: PF430B
*InputSlot PF430A/Cassette 1: "<< /ManualFeed false >> setpagedevice statusdict begin 0 setpapertray end"
*InputSlot PF430B/Cassette 2: "<< /ManualFeed false >> setpagedevice statusdict begin 1 setpapertray end"
It sure seems that the default is set to the second tray. I just can't figure out why the lpr command doesn't appear to respect the defaults. Trying to state it on the command line doesn't work either:

Code:
lpr -o media=Letter,PF430B -P RegERPL test.ps
This still pulls from tray1. For now, I am trying to find out what command the cups printer setup page uses since that does pull from the right tray.
