Clusters in RedHat


Hi,

Does anybody has any idea how to do clustering in RedHat at OS level.
Any help will be appriciated.

You'd probably want to take a look at the RedHat Cluster Suite (RHCS) for that. There is a document that provides an overview available on RedHat's website that explains pretty much everything you need to know to get started.

Two linux servers behave as one unit. Both servers has a big database(80 g) and server 1 is the main and the other (server 2) is used as a standby. Whenever the database gets updated or whatever activity takes place on server 1 should be immidietly applicable to server 2. This is CLUSTERING which is done at OS level. Has anyone setup such an environment and if so what is the procedure.
