change root password over ssh

Is there any way to automate changing root password via ssh on multiple Linux boxes? My root login via ssh is disabled but I can still login as a normal user using ssh keys. Does anyone have a sample expect script?

Thanks.

Well, you could use "sudo passwd" I guess, within a dialogue context. Or use sudo with sed/aws/perl or something to edit the /etc/shadow file.

Try cssh. It's a cluster tool but I use it to change passwords or do tasks on like boxes. It's pretty handy.
