change owner of httpd from nobody to apache


Hi
I am runnin httpd on linux.
I want it to be owned by apache.
But ps aux displays that its user is nobody.

Please reply me.

Have a look in Apache's httpd.conf file for the User and Group directives. Assuming that you have already created the apache user and apache group, just change the entries from:
Code:
User nobody
Group nobody
to
Code:
User apache
Group apache
