Centos PHP

Hi all I recently moved a website from an internal server to a DigitalOcean host centos server both server are centos. My internal server had it's php.ini file under /etc I have the same thing for the remote host however my joomla and wordpress sites keep getting the php.ini file from the main root file directory /php.ini and not the /etc/php.ini file. I'm lost trying to figure out where it's told to make the php.ini file under /php.ini I have never had a server do this both servers where setup from a minimal install and have the same versions each php56w.

Any Idea on where i can look.

Thanks

Hi,

One way to change the php.ini location for the php module used by apache, is through PHPIniDir.
So check the apache config file(s) for:
Quote:
PHPIniDir /php.ini
