cannot stop md array

Hello, everyone
I have the following trouble:

i created raid device, /dev/md1 as raid0, but cannot do anything with it.
--detail gets the following:

Code:
:/proc # mdadm --detail /dev/md1
/dev/md1:
        Version : 01.00.03
  Creation Time : Mon Aug 25 04:12:30 2008
     Raid Level : raid0
   Raid Devices : 6
  Total Devices : 6
Preferred Minor : 1
    Persistence : Superblock is persistent

    Update Time : Mon Aug 25 15:00:55 2008
          State : active, Not Started
 Active Devices : 6
Working Devices : 6
 Failed Devices : 0
  Spare Devices : 0

     Chunk Size : 32K

           Name : 1
           UUID : 8b11f39e:dc53fc6c:c29cdcbf:5c5f11ac
         Events : 13

    Number Major Minor RaidDevice State
       0 8 19 0 active sync /dev/sdb3
       1 8 35 1 active sync /dev/sdc3
       2 8 51 2 active sync /dev/sdd3
       3 8 67 3 active sync /dev/sde3
       4 8 83 4 active sync /dev/sdf3
       5 8 99 5 active sync /dev/sdg3
and when i try --stop it or --run, i always get "device busy" error.
It is not mounted, because i even could not create a filesystem there so far. HOW CAN I DO ANYTHING WITH IT?

on the same server i have /dev/md0, created with the same command, and it works fine! OS: OpenSuSE 11.0
