Booting issue with Suse linux 10 with SP3 -BFS


Hi,

I installed OS Suse linux 10 with SP3 through BFS. After installation when it rebooted throughing an error :
resume device /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-xxxxxxxxxxxx-part1 not found (ignoring)
waiting for device /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-xxxxxxxxxxxx-part3 to appear .......... not found -- exiting to /bin/sh
$

Please any one help me solve this issue

It can't find the partitions. Without information on what you have on the computer, it would be very difficult to even guess. Is this the only operating system? Can you post your partition information? Post the /boot/grub/menu.lst file.
