Apache Question - Automatically put a little banner above every page

Okay, I'm going to be doing some web server maintenance.
Is there a way to get Apache to automatically put a little banner above EVERY page saying something like:

Quote:
This site will be down most of Wednesday January 28th due to server maintenance.
Thanks

I am aware of an Apache module called mod_layout, it is written by Brian Aker / Tangent Software. I have never used it myself, but it looks like something you could use.

This module allows you to add a header and or footer URL to every page.
Put you message in a common header or footer page.

Check these links out:

http://tangent.org/362/mod_layout.html

Cheers

Damien
