Apache modules help... Ubuntu 9.04

Hello everyone im having trouble figuring out how to load some modules onto my apache server. I need to set up authentication using NIS and i found a good tutorial http://www.math.tu-clausthal.de/~mat...ux/apache-nis/ but it doesn't explain in detail how to install the modules i've succesfully got Perl but i am clueless as to how to get the others!Im using Ubuntu workstation 9.04 and Apache 2.

They are not apache modules, but cpan perl modules. There are 2 ways to install a perl module from cpan. You can use the cpan shell, or you can download the module and compile it your self. I prefer the 1st method as it takes care of any module dependencies. You can take a look here to see how it's done.
