Apache asm and asm-util locations for loading server 2.4.9

I see this in the documentation...
unpack them into ./srclib/apr and ./srclib/apr-util

.... where exactly are these locations?
I made them but that didnt seem to work.
Not doing something right...

I have the build located like this >.
/etc/httpd/httpd-2.4.9
/etc/httpd/srclib/asf/asf-1.5.3
/etc/httpd/srclib/asf-util/asf-util-1.5.3

Hi,

You are not clear as to what you're trying to accomplish.
If you want to compile apache-2.4.9 from sources using the "--with-included-apr" ./configure option, you have to download the apache sources from here, extract the tarball and then do what you've done with apr and apr-util

Regards

apr installed but not apr-util

Thanks sorry so long to get back.
I found in the ./configure --help that I could specify the qfdn location of the apr directory ..
./configure --prefix=usr/local/home --use-apr=/opt/apache/apr --use apr-util=/opt/apache/apr-util-1.5.3

With the above string I can find the apr and continue but the apr-util wants a prefix to an apu.config file and I don't see that in the directory apr-util-1.5.3. I find an apu-config.in file but for some reason I cant get the run-time env to like it where it is -

and now its asking for pcre...
let me log in from the server ---

I guess you have to install pcre, as httpd binary depends on it
