Apache 2.0 configuration


guys I am configuring apche on rhel5, I got default page successfully, and virtual page too, when i keep only one file index.html in virtual folder it goes well, that file opens correctly , but when I keep other html files except index.html server shows default page again, can anyone solve this problem?

The easy way is to create an index.html page.

You could remove /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf, but
that is there to prevent people from trying to browse
the files on your webserver. If you want them to see
the files, copy them to a subdirectory and make it
browsable.

Hay My problem solved.
I follow ur track and changed the permissions of virtual folder too.
