Apache's PID files' path

Anyone has any idea where the httpd.pid path is set?
When I restart Apache, it's unable to find the PID file?

Code:
[root@production bin]# service httpd restart
Stopping httpd: [ OK ]
rm: cannot remove `/usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd/logs/httpd.pid': Not a directory
Starting httpd: [ OK ]
[root@production bin]# ls /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd/logs/httpd.pid
ls: /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd/logs/httpd.pid: Not a directory

Just add or change this line in httpd.conf
Code:
PidFile /yourpathto/httpd.pid
Kind regards

Edit
