I have been using this linux server platform both at home and in my work environment for a number of years. I'm fairly familiar with it using squid, mail, dansguardian, samba, joomla and apache. I am looking for others familiar with this server platform for some discussion on some issues , mainly minor, and to share ideas. Many Thanks.
Hi there, I have a couple of these setup to run as file servers and domain controllers in a windows network. How do you find it? I'm particularly interested in how you installed Joomla in a SME-server.
Install sme contribs repo then install from there or go to www.contribs.org and follow directions from there. See our school site at www.wadja.com.au/joomla. It used to work straight from the domain but I jammed up the permissions of the primary Ibay (one of my little issues I need help fixing) remember to set permissions on the config file.
