[Off-Topic] crypto-mining server under Linux and Tor

Dear all,

I wanna install a crypto-mining server under Linux and Tor.
I could find little general information online.
Thus i would enjoy receiving some tips and hints here,
specially about building it under Tor network.

I have interest in all proof-of-work cryptos (GPU focused). Pls tell me which goes best in Linux/Unix, which are the best software etc.

I'm not restricted to a certain Linux distribution.

Hardware: Asus b250 mining expert and several different graphic cards (nvidia + amd)

Maybe this discussion can build a knowledge base for futures users. It is really missing.

I deliberately chose to post in this Server-Forum because i i am searching for a more unix expertise. If i post on general crypto-forum there are only ms-windows guys there. So pls be patient with my slightly off-topic question.

I greately enjoy your shared experience!

Perhaps what little information you have found thus far is important to post here. My observation is that if there is little information about exactly what you want to accomplish, then it is possible you may have searched inadequately, or the information is very limited due to no one having considered this before.

That is fine, and especially considering what you said about finding little information. Suggest you start out with what you've learned about installing a mining server under Linux. Quite sure there is plenty of knowledge about how to do this online. Then you can expand the topic to include Tor, if you find that it benefits you. My suspicion is that it will work against you because what you'll really need to do is have your mining server cooperate with mining pools, and they don't appear to use Tor.
