Why Samba Server is sharing my Home folder?

Hello,

I configured samba server for the first time... Guests are not allowed, Specific users are allowed to access the resources.

When I checked share from a W$indows client.. My Home folder is also shared, but I haven't included it in samba share..

How to remove it from share?

Thanks

Remove the entry for it completely from your smb.conf file.

There's a special share called "homes" which shares your home folder by default. I'm pretty sure it's shared so only you have access to it, nobody else. But if you don't want it you can comment out the [homes] folder but keep in mind that's a "all or nothing" deal. (any other user wont have a home one either).
