Volume Password Protection


hi,

is it possible to add a read/write password to a volume? i have an external usb hard-drive, and i want to password protect it (just in case its stolen ).

Yes. You can encrpt them and anyone want to read them must need to have the key and passphrase. However, I do not know whether there is a software package that can make the whole process transparent.
