[SOLVED] SSL Certificates For Dedicated Database Server

I've got a dedicated PostgreSQL database server in the Amazon EC2 cloud. It runs great however now that I'm going live next week, we need to implement SSL security on the database server. Can anyone please recommend the easiest / safest 256 bit encryption SSL cert and how I can generate self-signed (Non-CA certificates) using the OpenSSL tool?
