snortsnarf generation problem

I just extracted snortsnard and installed the time parser by running

perl -MCPAN -e 'install Time::ParseDate'

and now when I run perl snortsnarf.pl I get:

Using an array as a reference is deprecated at include /SnortSnarf/HTMLMemStorage.pm line 290.
Using an array as a reference is deprecated at include/SnortSnarf/HTMLAnomMemStorage.pm line 266.

i've done some searching and can't find much. :-( .. It does generate the files and they seem to be correct (tested by portscanning server) ut I'm just wondering if there is a fix or something for there errors? and if I should be concerned.

Thanks in advance,
Paintcheck

Edit snortsnarf.pl, the Perl bang line, remove the "-w" check.

By the perl bang line do you mean this? :

#!/usr/bin/perl -w

I took off the -w and it works ..
I'm just curious though.. Wouldn't # comment this line out?

It's the line the shell recognizes the parser to parse an executable script with. It should always be the first line in the script.
