single sign on to access linux shell using ad credentials

Hi,

We have taken our Linux ( RHEL 6.3 ) systems to Windows (Windows 2008 R2) AD.
We can login to Linux systems using our domain credentials.

We want to implement single sign on to access Linux shell. We can use Putty or some other tool.

Please suggest.

The easy way would probably be to use LDAP authentication. Alternatively you could try using something like Samba and Kerberos to enable Active Directory auth directly. Example here, though it is dated.
