rsyslog - Ratelimit , is there a way to just limit inetad of stopping rsyslog after sometime ?

Hello Folks,

I have a question and I'm not sure if it is even possible.
I have rsyslog up with 30000 logs per 30 sec.
But sometimes, the threshold is exceeded, and as a result, rsyslog print rate limit and Stop.

My question is,
Is there a way in config such as tell rsyslog to just limit logs and keep logs limited and not to go to status down in case the threshold is exceeded?

if the Syslog rate limit is exceeded, I must restart rsyslog manually so it works again.

I read the manual and am not sure if that is a possible option with rsyslog.

Thanks

if I understand well rsyslog should drop those messages, see here: https://www.rsyslog.com/second-try-t...rate-limiting/
I don't know why is it stopped.
