RH8 firewall

As we all know a RH8 comes with some easy-to-use firewall, that asks us (between install) what security do we want eg. no firewall, medium or high.

My Q is...

- On what "stuff" is this firewall based??? (iptables?)

- where can i see how is it configured? (eg. the Firewall conf. file)

1. The kernel "stuff" tht drives it is called Netfilter. The userland tool to "stuff" the "stuff" towards the kernel "stuff" is called iptables in kernel-2.4x, and ipchains for kernel-2.2x.
2. should be /etc/sysconfig/iptables
