I think you should integrate your squid proxy with CVP ( Content Vectoring Protocol). It is better if you will use application dedicated to this activity like Esafe or Websense .
Websense is not a freeware, is it?

Look at /etc/squid/squid.conf file. from there your can deny access to a website, to a dirty work, to a specific workstation, control internet packets, browsing time, ., etc.,

As i went through the documents, i stumbled on some terms like http acceleration.
I want to know more about squid. i mean its working. how can i get docs on working
I want to know if any one can connect to Internet bypassing proxy (it is not iptabled, i think).
