RCV Multicast UDP Stream on Raspberry PI3


Hi,
I'm receiving muticast udp stream (layer 2 ) , i mean i connect cable to pc (windows) and without setting IP and just set udp://@IP:PORT on vlc , i can watch the video , after that i connect that cable to raspberry and then play VLC , i can see no video
Iptables is empty and ACCEPT traffic

Any Suggestion

Hi,
Enable multicast in kernel , then install smcroute ,,, you must specify the interface rcved multicast , joint the group , yu must set ip oon inteface otherswise it does not work , omxplayer can play udp multicast much better than vlc
