Post Port Checking!!!


In past I've shields-ups at www.grc.com to test my system for open ports etc.

I wanted to know if anyone used a command line tool that does the same thing as shields up

nmap

ships with various distributions.

In addition to what bruj3w has mentioned about nmap , there is also a gui version of nmap , called nmapfe.
(nmap front end )

This gui version is very handy and is very easy to use.
