Network security and content filtering?

i am in charge for network security in an eduacational instituton i want to setup a firewall + content filtering + antivirus in the gate machine plz help me how i can do with smoothwall or ipcop which is the best

between those two I'll vote for smoothwall, though I generally separate content filtering from the firewall. My proxy is usually my content filter.

To each his own though.
